Experienced Door Supervisor – Cork

Job Description

RFC Security Group are recruiting an experienced Door Supervisor for licensed venues in Cork city. You will be the first point of contact at the door, keeping the venue safe, welcoming and under control. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

The role

• Welcome customers and manage access to the venue
• Check ID, enforce age limits and refuse entry where needed
• Keep the venue within capacity and health and safety rules
• Read the crowd and step in early to calm potential trouble
• Deal with disorderly behaviour, theft or anti-social behaviour
• Patrol the venue and keep a visible presence
• Work with venue management, and with Gardaí when required
• Complete incident reports and logs

What you need

• A valid PSA Door Security Personnel (DSP) licence
• At least one year’s door supervision experience
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• A calm, respectful manner under pressure
• Good fitness for long shifts on your feet
• Availability for evenings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays

Good to have

• First aid or physical intervention training
• Knowledge of Irish licensing and public order law

Pay and hours

€17.75 per hour. Permanent role, full-time or part-time, with evening, night, weekend and bank holiday shifts.
