Job Description

Sentinel Group is seeking experienced, accredited and highly competent Corporate Security Officers for Dublin City Centre — a role suited to a professional operative capable of managing enhanced duties, operating in elevated-risk environments, and taking on increased operational responsibility within a corporate setting.

Location: Dublin City Centre · Type: Full-Time · Rate: €16.50–€18.50 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and assets within a corporate setting
  • Manage access control — monitoring entry/exit points and verifying credentials
  • Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the premises
  • Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies and security breaches
  • Liaise with clients, management and emergency services when required
  • Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records
  • Monitor CCTV systems and other security technologies
  • Provide a visible, professional security presence at all times; support site-specific procedures and compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a corporate or high-profile security environment
  • Valid PSA licence (Static Guarding)
  • Proven experience in high-responsibility or elevated-risk environments
  • Own transport and full driving licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; calm and decisive under pressure
  • High professionalism and presentation; excellent observational and reporting skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); eligibility to work in Ireland

Desirable

  • Experience in corporate HQs, financial institutions or high-end environments
  • First Aid certification
  • CCTV licence or experience
  • Conflict management / de-escalation training
  • Experience with access control and security systems
