Operations Manager, Fire & Security – Dublin

Job Description

RFC Fire & Security Systems are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to run their Dublin operation. This is a senior role in a privately owned, growing business, with direct access to the owner and senior team and real influence over how the company develops.

The role

• Lead service, maintenance, installations and projects, including the engineers and supervisors who deliver them
• Own scheduling, engineer utilisation, job completion and customer service
• Manage recruitment, operating costs and performance against budget
• Improve how the business runs, from planning and reporting to technology and automation
• Help assess and integrate businesses RFC acquires as the group grows

What you need

• Substantial operational management experience in the fire and security industry
• A good understanding of service and maintenance contracts, installations and project work
• Experience running field-based engineering teams
• Commercial awareness: how operational decisions affect margins and cash
• Confidence dealing directly with customers and suppliers
• Knowledge of Irish fire and security standards and PSA-regulated work is a plus

It would suit a current Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Regional Manager or Service Director ready for a bigger remit, with clear room to take on more as the business grows.

Package

€85,000 to €100,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonus, pension, healthcare and a company vehicle or allowance.
