Experienced Retail Security Officer (Seasonal) – Sligo

Job Description

RFC Security Group are recruiting an experienced Retail Security Officer for seasonal, part-time cover at a retail store in Sligo. You will be the visible security presence on the shop floor, keeping staff and customers safe and losses down through the busy season.

The role

• Patrol the store and act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally
• Record incidents clearly and accurately using RFC’s reporting procedures
• Work closely with store management and staff

What you need

• A valid PSA Security Guard (Guarding) licence
• At least one year’s experience in retail security in Ireland
• Good spoken and written English
• Availability for weekends, evenings and bank holidays
• A smart, professional approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Good to have

• First aid or manual handling training
• Conflict resolution experience
• Experience with body-worn cameras and retail incident reporting

Pay and hours

€16.15 per hour. Seasonal, part-time role with weekend, evening and bank holiday shifts.
