Sentinel Group is recruiting 2 Night Mobile Patrol Security Officers for Dublin.
Hours: Night shifts, 19:00–07:00, Monday–Sunday
Rate: €16.50 per hour plus night shift allowance
Requirements: Over 25 · Full clean driving licence · Valid PSA licence
Job Overview
As a Night Mobile Patrol Security Officer you will ensure the safety and security of multiple sites within your designated area — monitoring properties, responding to alarms, investigating suspicious activity and maintaining a visible presence to deter unlawful activity. The role requires vigilance, effective communication and adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol & surveillance: regular patrols of designated sites in the patrol vehicle; monitor for unauthorised persons, disturbances, vandalism or suspicious activity; ensure all entry points are secure.
- Incident response: respond promptly to alarms and incidents per company protocols; conduct initial investigations and gather information for incident reports; coordinate with Gardaí where necessary.
- Reporting: complete detailed reports after each shift, documenting incidents, safety concerns and maintenance needs accurately.
- Customer service: interact professionally with property owners, employees and the public.
- Safety & compliance: adhere to all safety protocols; perform vehicle checks; follow emergency response procedures calmly.
Qualifications
- Valid PSA Security Guard licence (required)
- Full clean driving licence (required) — must be over 25 for vehicle insurance
- Prior security or similar experience preferred
- Strong observational, communication and report-writing skills; proficient written and spoken English
- Work authorisation for Ireland (required)
